Ever since its establishment in 1937, The Poor Homes Society has been taking care of the persons aged above 55 who are orphaned, crippled or unable to earn their livelihood due to physical defects, infirmity or disease but having sufficient health to manage themselves, by giving them shelter, food, clothes and medical care. Thousands of such people have enjoyed these facilities ever since.
To get admission to this orphanage, a person should submit an application along with a certificate from the Village Officer, declaring that he / she is a destitute and has no source of income and has no relatives. The form for this certificate can be availed from the office of the Society
Supporting an old age home is a noble way to give back to those who once gave so much. You can help by donating funds for food, medicine, and daily care, or by sponsoring individual residents. Contributions of clothing, blankets, medical supplies, and other essentials are also greatly appreciated.
If you prefer hands-on involvement, consider volunteering your time to engage with residents, organize activities, or assist with daily operations.
Your generous donation can bring warmth, dignity, and hope to the elderly who call our old age home their home
The Poor Homes Society Governing Body leads with compassion, ensuring shelter, dignity, and hope for underprivileged families through transparent, committed service.
